Aldila, manufacturer of carbon fiber golf shafts and composite prepreg,
is currently looking for a Process Engineer in it's Composite Materials
Division.
Job Description: Full time Process Engineer with experience in producing
Composite Materials and product made with Composite Materials.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to improving the production
processing of Composite Materials products in a friendly, fast paced
manufacturing environment.
Position Summary: Determine operations to produce products and develops
processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met.
Troubleshoot with production personnel and takes corrective action.
Researches the purchase of equipment or upgrades to existing equipment.
Duties/responsibilities:
1) Evaluate, implement and monitor processes and operating systems for
the manufacture of composite prepreg.
2) Create/edit/maintain necessary documentation.
3) Equipment calibration and maintenance monitoring.
4) Assess the availability of raw materials and their safety and
environmental impact o n the facility.
5) Support the conversion of small scale processes into commercially
viable large-scale operation.
6) Monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of
manufacturing processes through observations and measurements as well as
by collecting and interpreting data from other technical and operating
personnel.
7) Work closely with other specialists for quality control of raw
materials.
8) Assume responsibility for safety/environmental issues and ongoing
performance of processes.
9) All other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Education & Requirements: Degree in Engineering field and
experience in composite Materials processing. Computer experience with
Word & Excel. Must be able to work the standard 40 hour work week. Must
be organized, have a great attendance record and dependable, reliable
with excellent communication skills, and be able to handle multiple
projects with minimal supervision. Highly motivated and eager to learn
the aspects of the job requirements.
Location: Poway, California.
Compensation: Salary range of $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 based on
experience.
Company paid full benefits package: (over $1,200.00 monthly) medical,
dental, life insurance and 401(K).

Composite Materials Division.
Job Description: Full time Sales Representative with knowledge of
Composite Materials and products made with Composite Materials.
Promotes, sells and secures new business, including important and major
accounts. Develops new territories and industries, full market potential
of existing and new customers and promotes product line acceptance.
Demonstrates products or services and assists prospects in the selection
of those best suited to their needs. Familiarizes established accounts
with new products or services and developments. Prepares documents such
as price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates and service
obligations. Writes orders, subject to approval. Investigates policies
and notifies organization of competitive products, promotional sale,
selling techniques, pricing, warranties and marketing polices. Submits
periodic reports detailing activities, sales volume and expenses.
Requirements: Customer service oriented with computer experience in Word
& Excel. Must be able to work the standard 40 hour work week. Must be
organized, have a great attendance record and dependable, reliable with
excellent communication skills, and be able to handle multiple projects
with minimal supervision and highly motivated.
