Swift Engineering Inc. has a long rich history in open wheel racing
and has always stayed on the leading edge of composite materials and processing to maintain a competitive advantage. Motor sports has provided
Swift a vehicle for innovation in introducing new materials and processes into aerospace and aviation applications. A swift press cure is a step by step look at the press curing approach of a front racecar wing used by Swift, including the benefits of this approach and applications in other industries.
Bio:
Mr. Heise has been working in the composite industry 12 years in Program
Management and has been a part of many exiting programs that applied
composite technology across many products and industries. This includes
being part of a program that made motorsports history by designing and
producing 40 open wheel racecars for Champ Car Formula Atlantic Series in
240 days; the design and build of a prototype single engine business jet in
200 days; as well as supporting many of the major prime aerospace companies
with high quality composite structures and assemblies.
Mr. Heise is a voting member of the Nadcap Composite Task Group Supplier
Committee and a member of The Composite Consortium (TCC).
